Kalathos is a quiet, traditional village situated on the east coast of the island, approximately 40km from Rhodes Town. With its breathtaking 180° sea views and picturesque surroundings this village is the perfect place to relax and indulge in the Greek culture. You can still hear the Church bells ringing on a Sunday morning.

The beach at Vlicha is also about 3km away and offers a number of water sports and hotels where you can eat and drink.
Kalathos is just a ten minute drive from the famous ancient village of Lindos, overlooked by the magnificent Acropolis. A walk through the narrow cobbled streets of Lindos gives a real sense of what a Greek village was like hundreds of years ago. There are now many tourist shops selling anything from pottery and lace to fridge magnets and children’s toys. There are also many jewellery shops selling gold and silver pieces. You can visit the Acropolis either by foot or on the back of a donkey! The views from the Acropolis are beautiful and from here you can look down on the picturesque Saint Paul’s Bay; where it is legend that St Paul sheltered from an incredible storm.

The nightlife in Lindos ranges from tavernas and restaurants to bars and some nightclubs. There really is something for everyone!
