Faliraki
Rhodes's major beach resort of Faliraki is focused entirely on tourism, all of which is based on the sweep of sand that lines the long foreshore. The palatial hotels at the north end cater for a more restrained clientel than the youthful crowds who frequent the main resort, where every kind of watersport is available - including parascending, banana boat rides, waterskiing ,jetskiing and bungee jumping. Faliraki is bursting at the seams with bars, cafes, resturaunts, discos and nightclubs, although the peripheral hotels are outside the reverberation zone.
